Did You Know?

From the time we are kids, every single time we are told we are naughty, not good enough or smart enough, too fat, or lazy, or told money is evil or that we can’t accomplish something, the emotion we feel in that moment, gets stored. Over time that file grows and grows until our mind knows nothing else and that becomes our current reality.

I love you BUT I don’t like you right now! Wow harsh. You had a good game today BUT you should have done “this this or that”. The “I love you” was erased the moment you said BUT, as was the compliment about the good game. Imagine how a child feels, or a friend or partner for that matter, if all they ever hear is negative.

Don’t jump on the lounge! Don’t look behind you! What do you do or get a picture of when you hear that? A lounge! So what happens when we say I don’t want to be broke, I don’t want to be unhappy? Your mind searches and gives you what you ask for – I want to be broke, and I want to be unhappy. We need to focus on what we DO want instead of what we don’t want. I want to be happy. I want to be successful and wealthy.

 

Our language has a huge impact on what we bring into our life. The simplest of changes can make a big difference.

If we choose to live in the past, hold on to resentments, anger or other negative emotions, we can cause disease in the body.
Releasing negative emotions and limiting beliefs can have amazing effects on how your body looks and feels.

That means up to 98% of everything you do is constantly running unconsciously.
Just as tying shoe laces and getting dressed becomes automatic after repeatedly doing it every day, we can allow our emotions to become an automatic setting also. If we allow ourselves to hold onto anger or hate or any one of a hundred negative emotions, and we feel it day after day after day, it will become your life. It will be how you feel, how you act, how you speak to and treat people, AND, how your kids will feel, act, live and treat others as well! We all learn and copy what we see.

Nobody ever really knows how much anyone else is hurting. We need to keep this in mind each time we go to judge someone else and before we say something we can never take back.

We cannot ever fully know what it’s like to be a man, just like males cannot fathom what it’s like to be female, regardless of their expertise. In order to heal our minds and bodies and be able to function at our best, we must first accept our deeper, underlying differences, which will empower us to become proactive in finding our own solutions.
